GenuineFan

Artist managers and independent promoters

Make the presale rule something fans can understand.

Give an artist’s previous purchasers and concert attendees a transparent way to qualify for a defined presale allocation—without asking your team to replace its ticketing system.

Music first. Free for fans. Paid, supported partner pilots.

Define eligibility before the announcement

For example, accept one purchase or attendance record dated within two years for this artist. That is an editable starting policy, not a recommendation for every audience. Set a deadline, pass expiry and capacity, then publish the exact requirements. The roster and policy freeze when claims open.

Prepare the handoff with the ticketing operator

Agree where the pass is checked and how an eligible fan proceeds to a purchase. GenuineFan’s access desk verifies and redeems the token; it does not reserve a seat or process a payment. A copied bearer token can be used by its holder, so decide whether your handoff needs an additional identity check.

Keep a route for missing records

Fans may have bought with another email, received a gift ticket or supported the artist offline. Explain the records you can actually match, assign a review owner and keep a separately managed general-access or support reserve. Missing evidence is not proof that someone is not a fan.

Measure the presale accurately

Compare submitted claims, passes issued, passes redeemed and reported purchases with the artist’s own campaign baseline. Email deliveries, opens and non-responders stay in the email provider. This release allocates first-come among qualifying applicants; it is not a lottery.

Start with the access moment.

Questions to answer before launch

Is an eligible pass a ticket?

No. It establishes eligibility under this campaign’s rules. Ticket inventory, payment and fulfillment stay with the ticketing operator.

Does verification eliminate bots?

No. Verified email, account reuse checks and single redemption address specific risks. They do not establish a unique physical person or guarantee bot elimination.

Can you use Spotify listening data to qualify fans?

Not in this pilot. Eligibility uses documented artist purchase, attendance or membership records, not connected listening accounts or consumer badges.

Bring one artist. Plan one useful pilot.

Build a campaign brief with the benefit, evidence, allocation and review owner. Download it or prepare an email to the GenuineFan team—no fan database required.
