Artist merchandise teams and managers

A limited drop. A clear path for the fans who showed up.

Use documented artist purchase history to define who can apply for early access to a limited merch release. Keep the store, checkout and fulfillment you already use.

Music first. Free for fans. Paid, supported partner pilots.

Use an order record, not an email tag

Prepare a CSV of qualifying purchases with the purchaser email, evidence date and order reference. Choose a relevant time window and only use records your team is authorized to process. A newsletter signup or arbitrary CRM tag is not treated as a verified purchase.

Match access capacity to the actual offer

A GenuineFan allocation limits issued passes, not physical units or sizes in your store. Agree how a redeemed pass maps to the purchase opportunity and explain that availability may vary. Issued pass capacity is not automatically recycled after a withdrawal or revocation.

Handle gifts, returns and record corrections

Before importing, decide whether returned orders qualify and explain the treatment of gift recipients. This release does not synchronize refunds from your store. Your team must resolve source-record corrections and can revoke an unused pass or review a missing-record claim.

Separate a redemption from a completed sale

The operator records access redemption; a partner later records a purchase reference from the store. That provides reported conversion, not an independently verified payment event. Choose an automatic commerce integration only once the first campaigns show which handoff needs it.

Start with the access moment.

Questions to answer before launch

Is there a Shopify integration?

No automatic store or checkout integration is included. The pilot uses prepared CSV evidence and an agreed manual handoff.

Does buying more merchandise improve a fan score?

There is no universal fan score. The campaign checks published evidence requirements, and duplicate records of one evidence type do not become additional distinct evidence types.

What if fans do not apply?

They receive no negative label. Use limited reminders and any general-access allocation your team manages separately.

Bring one artist. Plan one useful pilot.

Build a campaign brief with the benefit, evidence, allocation and review owner. Download it or prepare an email to the GenuineFan team—no fan database required.

The pilot implementation is available for review. Production deployment and approvals are required before inviting real fans.
